Matrix Flooring Solutions provides a bespoke logo matting service to customers via a tried and tested method known as “graphic inlay “. This is where the material (normally coir) is pre-dyed in the manufacturing process, then the design is cut and inserted together in a very similar way to a jigsaw, before being pieced together with positive/negative pieces to create the desired image, then bonded using our own bespoke adhering method. The result effect is an entrance mat that is far more durable than a printed mat. We also offer a “rush service” where mats can be turned around within 5 working days from artwork approval.

Matrix Flooring Solutions latest addition to its portfolio of products is a custom made hand tufting machine. Unlike the inaccuracies of traditional methods, this multi-axis, modern technology allows the customer to individually select which fibres/materials the rug is to be made from. Predominantly aimed at the high end market, a rug can be made with an infinite number of colours, each with (if selected) variable tufted heights, tufted weights and loop or cut finish, or a combination of both. The possibilities of this machine are endless and with a maximum dimension of 600cm x 500cm, we find it caters for most of our customer’s requirements.
